Life’s too short to pack boxes! 

What will take you weeks to do, can be done by Simply Moving in a day. We are well versed in the techniques and skills required to pack up your home safely, efficiently and carefully. When you look in your cupboards and around your home you see memories, you see your life and you see the daunting task of packing it all up and wrapping all your worldly goods. What we see is your belongings and we think “how can we care for this”, “how can we pack this into a box”, “which is the best way to wrap this item”.

Simply Moving have been one of the most trusted movers and packers in the Midlands for almost two decades. We have a trained and highly skilled team of packers ready to carry out all the wrapping, packing, dismantling and reassembly of your belongings.  We can pack, load and ensure your goods are safe because of the care and attention we give to the entire process, freeing up your valuable time to do all the other things that are involved in the home moving process. The full packing service will typically involve a team of 3 or 4 packers, depending on the size of your move. We will bring all the packing materials with us, all the tools required to dismantle your furniture and all the skills needed to get the job done. We will label all the boxes with room names, highlight when something is fragile and have it all ready for your move day. We will of course leave you with the essentials, beds can remain made up till the move, TVs can stay plugged in so you don’t miss Coronation Street, the internet can stay connected so the kids don’t drive you insane, and all the other things you need for an overnight can be left till the team arrive to move you.

At the new home we will place things in the rooms you want them in and as part of the full packing service we will reassemble all your furniture for you, leaving you to order a pizza whilst wondering which cupboards your cups and saucers should go in.

The options you have are :-

1. Full packing and unpacking service.

We will pack everything in your home, wrap the pictures, mirrors, TVs and anything else that requires additional care. We will bring all the packing materials with us, all included in the price. We will dismantle all your furniture and wrap it if needed. At the new home we’ll unpack and unwrap everything, we’ll place clothes back in cupboards, unwrap your crockery and place it all in your new cupboards (wherever you decide they are to go). We build your beds up and assemble dining tables, whatever you need. We take away all the boxes and the general detritus from moving leaving you to get a drink and think colour schemes for the walls.

2. Full packing service

Pretty much the same as above but without the opening up of boxes and placing things in cupboards. We will still assemble your furniture and we will be round in a couple of weeks to collect all the boxes etc. that you have finished with.

3. Part packing and dismantling/reassembly service.

Pay by the hour for us to pack up your fragile items, wrap the precious items and pictures. We will bring the packing materials with us, you just pay for what you use. Get us to take things apart for you and put it back together, so you have a bed to sleep in after a day moving house.

4. Self-pack

Do it all yourself, we will provide all the packing materials (see our packaging price list), you wrap and pack everything you have. It’s a good opportunity to de-clutter but do not underestimate the amount of time it is going to take you. Start in the kitchen, it’s the longest room to pack up as everything should be wrapped and then work your way through.

Have a plan where you are going to store all the items you’ve packed as you progress, you don’t want to be falling over boxes as you go to the loo in the middle of the night.

Sustainability – We re-use all our boxes, our packing paper is all acid free and anything that can’t be reused is recycled, everyone needs to do their bit!
