Flexible Timeslots

For fixed price removals and those waiting on a key release or house completion we would tailor your start time to suit the time you need to be out of your current home, this fits in with the whole moving house process and ensures your move gets off to the right start and runs smoothly. This would be discussed with you when booking in your home removal.

For our jobs charged by the hour (only charged in half hourly increments to save you more) we have flexible timeslots. Generally we have four different timeslots available: morning (usually 7.30am), midday (a start time between 11am and 2.30pm), afternoon (usually commencing between 2.30pm and 5.30pm), and evening (commencing after 5.30pm). There are no time constraints as to how long you have the team when paying by the hour, but we work as quickly and safely as we can to ensure you get the best value move available.

Your Removal Team

A Simply Moving team will be allocated to you depending on your requirements. There may be poor access or lifts to different floors meaning you need extra movers. Your move may be to or from a home with restricted vehicle access meaning multiple small vehicles are required rather than one large one. You may have multiple pickups and drop offs along route, no problem, we can make it happen!

Dismantling and Reassembly

All of our trucks have the complete equipment on board required to carry out your move efficiently and effectively. If any of your furniture requires dismantling in order to relocate it to the new property then our teams will be more than happy to do this and reassemble it at the other end. Let us know in advance if possible so we can allocate extra team members or plan additional time to your move. There are of course things we cannot do such as drill holes into walls to mount a television or disconnect anything from the mains electrics, anything you are not sure about, just ask!

Packing service

These days everyone is busy, busy at work, busy with kids (and kids clubs), busy keeping up with the latest Netflix mini-series. Let us free up your time and look after the packing for you. Generally completed the day before this involves a team coming in and doing everything for you. We take pictures off the wall and bubble wrap them, we wrap each and every plate or glass in your kitchen. We will carefully wrap up your most delicate of items and place them in boxes marked with the room they are to go to. Teenagers room a no-go area? – Not a problem, we’ll go in, pack it all up and get those dinner plates out from under the bed whilst we are there! Garage a nightmare? We would always recommend a declutter before moving but whatever is left in there we will pack it up. The packing service also includes all dismantling and reassembly so you can think about dealing with estate agents and solicitors whilst we take apart your bunk beds. We also offer an unpacking service so you really can have it all! Moving services also include all packing materials, we’ll be round when you have unpacked to collect all the materials for recycling or re-use.
