	At Simply Moving our primary focus is to provide the best service possible to our clients and to make the process of relocation as stress free and simple as possible. We’d also like to make your move as stress free as possible for the environment but in the transport industry it is inevitable that we will impact on the environment; and we fully recognise this fact. Carbon foot printing is something we take very seriously at Simply Moving and we have put in place a number of initiatives that not only look at offsetting our footprint, but also look at reducing the impact our business has on the environment in the first instance.

	Our Eco-Friendly policy:

		Whenever feasible we will use recycled products. This ranges from the packaging supplies we offer to our clients to the paper used in the office.

		Unfortunately the reliability with dual-fuel vehicles is not yet up to the standard we require. However, Simply Moving continues to monitor the progress of these vehicles with the view to implementing these into our fleet in the future.

		We carry out many of our transactions and communication with our clients over the internet and email. This saves on waste paper and we encourage both our staff and customers to consider the necessity of printing emails.The distance our trucks have to travel to a client’s property is reduced by simply coordinating our trucks through good logistical planning between moves.

		Unless we are pricing an office move or a 4 bedroom plus house, the price will be assessed over the phone without using extra fuel in sending out a Simply Moving representative to the property.

		The carbon emissions that are generated on your move can now simply be calculated by your movers upon completion of the job. We will then offer to cover 50% of the cost of offsetting these carbon emissions with the planting of trees through the World Land Trust charity.
